I am not optimistic mate. I'm just not quite as pessimistic as I was.
All I'm saying is I believe we might have a chance under new owners
I firmly believe we had no hope under Moshiri and Bill.
So let's see how things go. Probably still pretty badly - this is Everton lol
The first significant thing they could do to get a bit of credibility with the fans (and the league) is do what MSP were apparently going to do and appoint guys like Bell and Downing to senior positions. It would at least be reassuring to know there were both competent businessmen and Everton supporters in those positions to ensure the club's best interests were looked after.
If you’re hungry and someone offers you a dogsh!t butty do you just eat it no questions asked
If it keeps me alive yes!If you’re hungry and someone offers you a dogsh!t butty do you just eat it no questions asked
we really need a bawling my eyes out reaction for this forum...We'll end up renting the stadium off these to pay back the money they've borrowed to buy the club.
Feel a little sad that the club is owned buy an investment fund, but this is the future.
This is all football to be fair.

I wouldn't mind people of that calibre on the board, but the executive team needs to be sourced independently, and based on open competition. There is no harm in having a voice in the board that has good business acumen with Everton connections, but the football business needs to be run predominantly by football business people, those that have demonstrable success and a track record in that respect. The first significant thing they could do to get a bit of credibility with the fans (and the league) is do what MSP were apparently going to do and appoint guys like Bell and Downing to senior positions. No these though..You wanted new ownership didn’t you?
Let’s get drunk and celebrate.
Or you could stamp your feet refuse that and anything else they or anyone else offer unless its fillet steak......then die of starvation.
But least you stood firm hey....
