This is the one possible positive for me.

A 10M player at Vasco becomes a 50M player after one good season at Everton.

If the group looks to funnel it's best players to Everton we benefit and they make money.

Have you got examples of them doing this between the other clubs in their portfolio?

I know what you were doing.

Its called clutching at straws.

But yes, in theory, the model could work to our advantage, if 777 werent sharks.
It is possible the club and the owners can both benefit.

It's not ideal as ultimately they would look to sell our best players for a big profit, rather than look to keep them and win things.

However, we would have a better scouting network than currently and the club would be profitable.

They don’t run it the same way as the City group mate. They run each club individually, not very well I may add. There has been zero overlapping between clubs in their d group up to now. In all honesty this isn’t a football project for them.

The transfer ban is a technical question that don't need answer until the next window. They have plenty of time to get it sorted...its like paying your credit card...why paying well before you need to...it will make no difference to vasco or 777 if it gets sorted just before the next window
Imagine Everton being under a transfer ban, no matter the timing.

With all the noise about them, and despite Bill’s/Josh’s letter to us all, I just can’t see these being any good for us at all.

If these get past the Premier League owners test, it will prove if there was any doubt that they are not fit for purpose.
