Its there mate.

Everton Blues

The Premier League has never before publicly turned down a bidder for one of its teams, despite having an Owners' and Directors' Test which all buyers must pass. That might change in the case of Miami-based 777, which is bidding for Everton.

So great has been the debate about 777's suitability to acquire Everton — in particular the source of the company's financing and its ability to provide sustainable working capital to Everton going forward, that the League, according to people close to the situation, is considering preparing a statement either way. It’s never bothered to explain itself before.

The League has been assessing the takeover for over six months, during which time 777 has lent over £150 million to keep Everton afloat. A similar probe into Jim Ratcliffe's suitability to buy a stake in Manchester United took only six weeks. While the PIF-led bid for Newcastle United went through an 18 month process.

The Premier League declined to comment. David Hellier

I don't think that could have been it as thats 3 paragraphs written by someone who really isn't arsed either way whether Everton exist or not and they were probably thinking about their lunch whilst typing it. The Bloomberg article was made out like it was going to be something worthwhile as even matty was told to stand down and be patient.

Alas, nothing posted, nothing new and once again my expression is 😲.....not

People were complaining that Everton stories were in an Insurance trade newspaper, Andy said "keep an eye on Bloomberg", now granted Andrew may have jazzed it up, but he wasnt wrong, Bloomberg did indeed post an Everton story the very next day.

True, but I thought it was jazzed up to the point that Jools Holland and his 40 piece jazz band were in town when the truth was it was Terry who plays the Cavern every Thursday by himself on his sax.

According to the Guardian, the Financial Conduct Authority have already given their approval. I don't have this kind of financial knowledge, but wouldn't it be unprecedented for the Premier League to not give approval themselves. They'd be sued to high heaven and we'd be rubber ducked if not. The stakes are too high at this point.

If the FCA were assessing 777 at this time and given the additional information on their creditworthiness, they would not approve them. Circumstances have changed since the FCA assessment was done.

Can we not just put out an Ad for a Sultan or a Sheik
We would probably end up nearly selling to a kid in his bedroom again and playing fortnite thinking he's making millions only to realise he's not slept for 2 weeks and has now developed bed sores but from sitting in his gaming chair. Amazing what you can find on ebay when you look hard enough
