Someone Wealthy, Honest, Respectful and for the right reason, please come out the woodwork and Buy this club 🙏
it's extremely rare to find this in people who are that rich. And if they were, I'd doubt they have the cutting edge needed to do anything more in modern day football than the likes of Kenwright

He's desperate to get out of this quick with any accessible cash, the longer it would continue past the initial agreement the less we are worth as we are hemorrhaging cash and taking on loans to pay bills. He likely won't make out better if this goes tits up
Moshiri 🤡 🤡🤡

Been mainly offline for a week.

Those conditions placed on the 777 deal by the Premier League is the greatest thing they've done for Everton.

Not a chance 777 will satisfy those four points.
The question is whether they apply the same conditions for other prospective buyers or else leave themselves vulnerable to litigation from 777 if they fail to complete the purchase due to failing the test. Also in applying these conditions, with being made public, are those conditions likely to deter other interested purchasers. No one wants 777 but we have to watch they don’t put others off.

In all honesty, anyone who can’t meet those relatively modest conditions would make extremely poor owners anyway.

I think the only thing that gives if those conditions are met, is the money going into Moshiris pocket. I’ve not done rough numbers but I’d imagine it comes to far more than our current market value (or future even with the stadium)

Course they will. Why wouldn't they?
They are not particularly unusual imho.

Do we need cash flow? Yes
Do we need to finish stadium? Yes
Do we need to repay MSP? Yes
Will we need to repay 777? Yes.

There's no way 777 can meet those conditions. This bid is toast.

I know he can often be marmite on here, but Paul is saying that these conditions aren't new and have been in place for some time - which may illustrate why he has been steadfast in his belief they haven't had the capital overall, the only difference now is the PL have written formally Moshiri and 777.

Apparently 777 have been trying to raise the capital to do this from investors - with little success.

It's a risk, but you'd imagine other interested parties (there's likely going to be more than one) know that Everton are a relative bargain, laden with debt or not.

It's clear 777 don't have the money the PL are asking for evidence of, this is a "Take a crap or get off the pot" notice.

They mystery that will probably never be solved is why Moshiri allowed them to drag it out as long as they have.

Another odd move by him on a list of many.

What do think a better time for them would look like for the club?
When we’re in Admin? When we’re in the Championship?
No idea. But the greater the prospect of Admin the better the deal which they would prevent. We all complain about the board lacking any business acumen but then expect any buyers to act out of love for Everton. Those days are gone and quite frankly we’ve tried that and this is our third relegation battle.

Be pretty incredible if Mosh’s team hadn’t already sought these exact assurances before last years agreement was even signed.

Never seen an acquisition where some proof of funds or due diligence over the buyer done before heads of agreement (intention to proceed with the transaction) signed. Apparently until now. Amazed he has any money left.
