An organisation that couldn’t find £1m in time to forestall a damaging court case is expected to raise at least 300 times that amount in the next few weeks ?
Yeah right 😀.
Utter madness they are still turning up to games, and Moshiri writing directly to fans saying their acquisition in on the home straight, a week before plenty will become clear.

Either they have a multi hundred million dollar rabbit to put out from under that baseball cap, or everyone involved on all sides of the transaction is incredibly thick and delusional. It seems too daft to be true that they are pushing ahead if there is literally no money.

I suspect that even if the money did appear in time for the purchase to go through it would vanish soon after .

Everton can solve £330m debt issue with 777 takeover
Maguire explained that 777 Partners will turn their owed debt into equity if they take majority control of the club and therefore it is not a major concern.

“No, I don’t think the £330milion of debt will be a huge concern,” Maguire told Football Insider’s Sean Fisher.

Anyone seen what Foley is doing at Bournemouth, building a new stadium and a new training ground which will be ranked as one of the best in the PL.

That is a proper owner and using his own money to ensure no interest on that spend.

Bournemouth will be the latest club going past Everton in the pecking order, it will take decades to recover given the financial landscape. Still losing money on a daily basis, no chance of fighting for top, no chance of even fighting for Europe plus more points deductions, what is the point.

The club itself is just happy to exist in the PL and if 777 get in we will lose the stadium and all of this will have been for absolutely nothing. Everton is in massive massive trouble, more than most actually realise... worse if 777 take over.
