At the risk of repeating myself and others, given everything we're seeing now, it seems pretty dang clear that 777 are never going to get all the money they need to finish this takeover. Who in their right mind would ever give it to them?

Think we might as well just focus on whatever the options are that may potentially arise after this bunch is finally dispatched.

Erm…Administration is my bet!

This is the vexing question. All I can figure is that Everton was going to be the crown jewel that was supposed to stabilize their entire sporting enterprise - making them enough money in the long-run to keep everything else afloat. If they can't pull off this takeover, then, perhaps everything they have everywhere finishes collapsing (some of it seems to have already started).

In other words, the takeover itself is a last-ditch attempt to save their entire enterprise, so they have no choice but to power on until it's literally impossible not to.

Bigger question is why Moshiri and RMF felt these would be the right fellers. Shows their selfsh interest.

If I'm wanting a ridiculous amount for my club, I'd at least sell it to the people who have the funds.

Does Mosh/Usmanov stand to gain anything if the club goes into administration ? At this point I wouldn't put it past 777 having shady links and this all being a plot to force the club into administration whilst making the "owners" not look at fault for it, like why has it been allowed to go on so long when it's clear 777 don't have the money

Nobody gains if the club goes into administration.

Wait, what?

777’s months-long pursuit of the Liverpool-based club hinges on repaying a £158 million loan to a group of investors led by MSP Sports Capital, a rival sports investor. MSP’s loan is due to be paid on April 15. If the loan isn’t repaid, MSP could take ownership of Everton, according to the people.
