Yeah there was 2 minutes additional time. So the game did finish in the 95th minute, but there was only 2 extra minutes played.

Well a game lasts 90 minutes of playing time. Not a second more or second less.

Additional time is for when we have stoppages during that 90 minutes. So if there is 5 minutes additional time, it doesn't mean they played 95 minutes, it just means they played 90 minutes.

Seems it would be easier if they adopted the rugby model and actually stopped the clock for any injuries and then everyone would know that as soon as 90 minutes was up that'd be that.
