Duncan Ferguson bought me a pint in the Carlton Hotel in Southport.
Now that is a quality fact, nice work Mr. Fuego!
Jealous? Of course!!!
I'd been delivering to his house for a couple of years, he even gave me a quick tour of his pigeon house, so when he recognised me he came over to our table with a pint and sent his mate out onto Lord St to buy him a PS2 before we sat and talked about Everton for an hour or so.
That is so awesome!! What was he like?
I've only met him very briefly to get an autograph after one of the open training sessions. Even then though, he seemed a true gent. I have a picture of a younger looking me getting a pennant signed by the big man pride of place in my bedroom
i spoke to ed "stewpot" stewart on the 'phone a few months ago.
He's just an ordinary man really,he obviously loved Everton but didn't share the same love for football in general, i got the impression he was just exploiting his ability as a footballer.Spoke to him on numerous other occasions when i delivered to him after that, nice fella in general, very down to earth, despite the fact that he never gave me a tip.
I was in a very priviged position in my former job, met loads of celebs / footballers,Sharp,Cottee,Kendall,Louise Redknapp in her pyjamas.
Was she the one you shagged at the Grimsby game?
I wish !
He's a Blue, isn't he?
