A Special Event

He's right though.

Its utter stupidity to have 'secret' behind closed doors media events at a time like this.

Its like 'Click bait'.

Cheap. Nasty and not respecting EFC supporters who are awaiting signings late in the window.

The commercial team should know this and should talk to our fans and understand what is going on in the fan base at the moment.
Thanks, and was the point I was trying to make to be fair

Given the way they've used teaser trailers and such to announce new signings this season, this 'special surprise' seems a pretty inappropriate way of going about announcing something which, let's face it, is pretty mundane...

They've done similar stuff in recent years, nobody should get drawn into it and think it is more than a PR exercise.

Amateurish.

People would be more interested if they signed a couple of people and said

'7pm outside EvertonONE.

TWO SIGNINGS IN NEW 3rd SHIRT.

BE THERE.'

This click baiting doesn't sit well with me. Not at the moment anyway.

Click baiting is nasty behaviour.

You'll never get new signings to wear this

Some the clowns at Everton are so out of touch with the fans........a big announcement and its the 3rd kit......and its bright orange like those guys who tarmac the roads.

Everton that
If it is bright orange I am for sure getting the home kit this season. Not a fan of the away kit that much
