He ain't played much for Spurs the last few seasons. A victim of several managerial changes and a misconception by Spurs that they are a big team and have to sign big names. He is a more than decent player and think he will do a fine job for us. His pace alone will allow us to break far more efficiently. Decent signing I'd suggest.

I honestly dont know what anyone would find bad about this. Maybe they expected Arjen Robben?

He's apparently made seventeen appearances for Spurs this season, although I'm not sure how many are starting roles of subs.

That's not a particular bad record and Spurs have some relatively good players in their squad, in both the wide and number ten position.

It may not be the star-studded starlet that we all wish for, however he's a winger which what we all require. Let's not judge before he plays.

You may question the stats regarding his goals. You may also mention his assists. However, who is offering those on the left or right now?

Whatever we think of him, let's at least give the lad a chance though, because if we slate him from the off then that's a sure fire way of ensuring he's crap.

Cracking bit of business this. We need wingers, and Lennon is a good one at that.

He's just a significant improvement on McGeady, and gives us Mirallas and Lennon as terrifying pace, which may aid Lukaku, no end.

Come on Everton, bring back the form of last season, and lets make a run at the cup!
 

A bit worrying that Stoke are saying he chose us over them because of guaranteed first team football.. it shouldn't be easier to get in our team than theirs.
 
A Spurs fan perspective on Lennon:

You'll be surprised mate .... A good run of games and you'll see one of the most direct threats in the prem. he's not good off the bench though.

Not sure why he's not good off the bench?

An headless chicken who provides decent cover for the full back.

I'm pretty sure that our scouts can find someone a bit better than lennon; the lads been the same since day 1, and a typical English winger. Pace and no end game, beat a defender and put the ball in the stands.

We've just signed a player who has been courted by Stoke Leicester and Hull; that says it all

Looks at lads Southampton have signed, technically gifted players, with pace and skill.
