Still feels like very questionable rumors but I think we can get by just fine with Davies, Allan and Gomes. But we're in trouble if Allan gets injured.

Slowly getting back to the worst midfield in PL history back out on the pitch together if Allan ends up out between now and the seasons end.

Top 4/FA Cup looking very unlikely at this stage with this injury list creeping up.

He came off versus West Brom mate.

And people realise that there is contact in training, right?

In a normal week we play 1 game and train 5 times.
I can remember a fair few injuries that happened in actual matches too. Allan both times and DCL spring to mind immediately.

He obviously didn’t break his foot against West Brom did he because we might’ve noticed that happen while watching the game?

Recovery. In most cases, it takes from 6 to 8 weeks for a stress fracture to heal. More serious stress fractures can take longer. Although it can be hard to be sidelined with an injury, returning to activity too soon can put you at risk for larger, harder-to-heal stress fractures and an even longer down time.

Ah well. At least he saw us through to Allan's return.

Let's hope for some tactical wizardry from the Don to mitigate this.

A stress fracture is a fatigue-induced bone fracture caused by repeated stress over time. Instead of resulting from a single severe impact, stress fractures are the result of accumulated injury from repeated submaximal loading, such as running or jumping. Because of this mechanism, stress fractures are common overuse injuries in athletes.[1]

Stress fractures can be described as small cracks in the bone, or hairline fractures. Stress fractures of the foot are sometimes called "march fractures" because of the injury's prevalence among heavily marching soldiers.[2] Stress fractures most frequently occur in weight-bearing bones of the lower extremities, such as the tibia and fibula (bones of the lower leg), metatarsal and navicular bones (bones of the foot). Less common are stress fractures to the femur, pelvis, and sacrum. Treatment usually consists of rest followed by a gradual return to exercise over a period of months.

As I say, he came off in his last game, but you assume it was in training.

Well we play a diamond and Allan come back will soften the blow a little bit, He's still a big player for us due to his energy and power but man, I don't know who the hell is gonna play on the right, Davies will get spun down there.

Stress fractures are bad injuries. If true hes possibly done for the season.

I hope this is a load of rubbish

Probably caused more by him not being rested than any impact in a tackle etc.

He's a victim of the club having to carry Gbamin & Delph on their backs these past 12 months.
