Badly missed his presence in midfield. He is the only one in the squad who is truly box to box and Allan's game is raised as a result of him not having to do the job of 2

Watch him being on the bench on Sunday. Carlo has doen that before that a player is back in full training saying in his press conference that he is back and then put him on the bench. No matter how much i like Anchelotti but needs must in this case.

Yeah, no slight on him but people have really built him up to be something he's not, and seemingly forgotten that our performances generally weren't any different when he was in the side. Same thing's already happened with Allan.

Wouldnt play him for the rest of the season tbh - keep him fit for next season as hopes of Europe are over.

We miss them, no doubt for me. But yes, we always build up missing players.

Probably why people get soo angry and fume when they dont play well.....unrealistic expectation fo these players.

Yeah i've said before that we miss Doucoure because he's the only one in midfield who can run, but nowhere near as much as people make out. Our performances overall aren't very different whether he's playing or not, and nor are the results. He's useful, but the idea that we'll suddenly be a different proposition with him in the side doesn't appear to have any basis in fact.
