Sometimes I think AD has chosen the wrong sport. He had been an excellent marathon runner, but is at times completely helpless with the ball. However, he is one of the few players who puts in an honest effort, although the quality varies greatly.

He's ended up being a bit better than I thought, at least on the rare occasions where he's on it, but I'm routinely amazed by how highly he's rated among Evertonians.

We needed a 3rd man in there, i would have dropped Coleman and played Gomes in midfield. At least it would have offered more balance.
