Apparently he was asked in 2017/18 if we wanted to represent Mali back then. He declined as he 'wanted to represent France' and ultimately failed to win a call up..
Has he not already had his chance?
Well they are still in the hunt for a place.
His choice was never playing any international football with France, or playing for Mali.
Considering he can get there with Mali, no he hasn't ran out of chances... obviously.
Yet to see anything official regarding Mali, last I heard he was asked, but have yet to see anything confirmed, guess we find out very soon.
