2022/23 Abdoulaye Doucouré

I also think the whole thing - the Everton reaction - got to him. I know he scored a penalty, but he could do that blindfolded with 2 broken legs.

He was nowhere in the game after that, bar the penalty.
He was nowhere in the game full stop. He & Son were really disappointing for them I thought. That Kulusevski was their most dangerous player IMO.

He's one of the first I'd have out the door if we stay up.

if Dyche wants to continue with the 3 in midfield and if Davies and Doucoures contracts arent extended.

Were left with Garner, Gana, Onana. Id say at least 5 possibly 6 central players are needed in the squad.

Wouldnt it be better to keep Doucoure for a year so its one less player to put a transfer fee towards on this summer?

A one year extension, if the wages are right, could make sense. Because we do need the numbers in midfield and presumably won't have money to spend.

But we shouldn't go more than one year

Like Doucoure, you've put your, er, finger on it. There is no personal accountability at Everton, from the board down to the first team.

That imbecile last night left his team-mates to fend for themselves against an extra man because Hot Head couldn't keep his cool. He's an absolute donkey in the middle of that field who lacks the basic skills of the game. He'll be no loss whatsoever.
If Garner’s fit enough to step up we won’t miss Doucoure too much, he looks out of control most of the time tbh whether he’s on the ball or chasing it. Garner looks to be an actual footballer.

His best quality is that he doesn't hide from the ball and responsibility, always puts himself in any situation.

His worst quality is his football, sadly, which is some of the most inconsistent I've seen from a single player ever.

Keane literally carried on when he nearly had his ankle snapped
And one's a national team captain and record goalscorer, the other is bambi on ice.

How "tough" they play out means nothing and Kane is an absolute RAT of a human being and football player, but any of our players will play this contact the same way, as they should, so they can get the oppo sent off.

The da's here are crying about Kane falling like he was decapitated, which any of our player would've also done if the roles were reversed anyway.
Not sure players like Tarkowski, keane, godfrey etc...would have falling like kane did last night...perhaps a player like gray might and onana because not quite used to the premier league. Fact is that kane, for an English player, that should be used to the physicality of the league, shouldn't be falling to the ground like that making it so much worst than it actually was.
