Not just doucoure but iwobi aswell. Id be embarrassed asking for an improved contract. My first reply would be on what basis? You've had us in two relegation fights. Are you taking the piss asking for a better contract?
Personally i think stay up or relegated its time to move these on. Garner looks an improvement and we need to start getting in players who can keep a team penned in by comfortably moving the ball about. We've surely got to be one of the worst teams for that. Can hardly keep the ball for more than 20 seconds.

The reason why the bottom end of the league is his level is he can't apply himself consistently, be it ability or attitude.
He has the odd great game or run of form which is why he's in the PL. At least half the time though his performances are not PL standard.

Thats a great point. When he is ok is when he's aggressive and hungry. He does have them days. Other days he is completely invisible. We all know his ability is suspect. Great finish for the 2nd at Brighton. But that was a volley instinct. Look at the leeds game when he was put through on goal with time to think and his running with the ball had to come into play. He looked like a new born calf trying to walk for the first time.
He isnt worth a new contract. Certainly not 3/4 years and most certainly not on silly money.
