He was covering so much ground when he joined us doing the work of players around him that weren’t up to it. Would be interesting to see what he could do with a Gana / Onana next to him and not Gomes .. the man is a machine when fit.

Feels to me like the squad is now very much top heavy on centre halves and centre mids. If Doucure gets little playing time I’d expect us to sell him in Jan, along with Mina, and bring another creative player in. Will have a much more balanced look then
