Some mind boggling decisions when he came on today.
Perhaps ring rust and hard to get into the tempo coming off the bench.

He’s a good sub to have. Gets about and adds some height. Will obviously take a few games to get up to speed.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that is frightened of doucoure being on the pitch. The decision he made during that 3 on 1 counter will be worth rewatching haha

There was a time when the consensus around him was positive.

But seeing him play after watching the class of Gueye, Onana and Iwobi kind of opens your eyes a bit. He is far too erratic for a central midfielder. Feels like Goodison is always wincing in anticipation of a mistake when he’s on the ball.

Good squad player at the moment. When Onana is missing or rested , he can slot in.

Runs around a lot and gets in the way but his passing is absolutely woeful. Good to have depth but I imagine his play time will be extremely limited once Garner is match fit.

Was our best midfielder last year, which shows how poor our other midfielders were. Now he is 5th choice.

His passing has never been his strong point though, even when fit. Like I said, he is good depth, but are you picking him over gana, onana, iwobi or Garner?
