I would agree on Davies, but Fulham are 7th and want to sign him (Doucoure)

It’s Fulham, so above us at this minute but mainly a yo-yo club . He’s wanted by smaller clubs.

Thata fair enough, but they are above us currently, so there must be a reason they think he strengthens them.

No we want better players so we improve, as a team, Surrey that’s not difficult to understand. The reason fans get on
Players backs is because we’re sick of the same rubbish players, making the same mistakes and yet still at the club getting games 3 or 4 yrs later

Touch is absolute one of the worst I’ve ever seen from a premier league footballer.

He’s not going to take us to the next level, and for his wages 120k pw he should be moved on.

And me and I’ve seen some terrible midfielders in 44yrs, but he’s up there. I don’t think he’s on that much though, more like 80/90 I’d say

If he is that bad though, why do teams above us want him?

Because he is, at best, a Fulham-level player, and because we are, as a club, in a period of extraordinary underachievement not helped by having players like Doucoure consuming the wage bill.

And also because it's Marco Silva who wants him: a failed Everton manager. He's doing us a favour, bless him.

Luckily fans have no input into who arrives and who departs or we would have been relegated out of the league years ago.

Doucoure is no world beater but he certainly can do a job in midfield, I expect we will get a decent fee for him if sold, possibly around 15m.

Tom Davies is just the whipping boy on here and when he goes it will be someone else.
There is always someone.

We paid 20 he’s got 6 months left, we ain’t getting 15mil ?
And what job can he do? He rarely scores or assts, he can’t pass, and this causes him to constantly go backwards, he’s can run and is a big lad, could do a job for a team that has 30% possession every week, if you want to progress as a team and become a better footballing team, you ain’t doing that with doucoure.

And Davies gets stick because he’s had 6 yrs and 150 games and is a championship footballer.

He’s been another disappointing £20m signing for us all in all. Not as bad as some of the others, but not good enough. Was happy when we signed him, I thought he’d chip in with 5-7 goals a season and be a goal scoring threat from midfield. He’s not offered nowhere near enough in that area, good engine but technically awful.
