Does anyone know what set him off for the yellow? He was proper incensed, hoping match of the day would enlighten but they skimmed over the incident as did ref for extra time in the first half.

No idea but I was really hoping he'd bounce that little mutant Gnonto after full time. Got booked for getting in Coleman's face but looks like Seamus just laughed at him.

On the one hand he's a massive waste of money who has downed tools before but on the other hand he's our 3rd best midfielder, one of the better ones is 34 next season and the other will probably be leaving. 2 of the ones behind him look set to be leaving for free. How is it that every single summer our midfield needs a complete revamp
Hopefully some of the young lads might be able to step up but I know I’m just kidding myself

He's very limited as a player, but, he is a great athlete and is doing a job for Dyche. I don't think there is any need to address the option on his contract until the end of the season. Let's see what league we are playing in next season and tell Dyche exactly what his budget is. If he decides that it makes sense to extend Doucoure's contract to free up funds to bring players in for other positions, then that is fine, if Dyche thinks he is worth keeping for another year, he's the man who should be making those decisions.

If, however, we do go down, then it would be absolute madness to extend his contract, we just couldn't justify paying his level of wages for a championship season when we didn't need to. It will be bad enough paying the massive wages for some of the players that we will not be able to get rid of.

Not sure if he downed tools or just told the clown lampard what we could all see, his tactics left the midfield with no chance of competing, and that turned into a row.

Which he then downed tooled as he did it publically and refused to warm up and just sat on the ball.

He may have been right in regards to his views on it, but remain professional and do your job.

Personally hope we don’t take the option. He runs around a lot but on the ball he is poor. As soon as Garner is fit, I’d be getting him in.

Enjoyed his like on twitter, the utter bish.

Overreaction to this, is mad.

We all knew Lampard was a nice fella but terrible manager. Take the financial aspect of it away, if you’re in a job where the boss completely incapable, it’s going to drag your morale and mood down.

If Doucoure can put the same energy in as the last couple of home games, I’ll be happy.

Still don’t think he’s great, but would 100% give him the extra year. We’re not in a position where we can just let players leave, cause we can’t replace them.

I don’t mind him and have defended him in the past, but that chance on goal was one of the most pathetic bits of play I’ve seen. You’d honestly expect school kids to do better in that situation.
Yeah, that was pretty bad. But I was thinking about it, who in our team would you be confident in that they would score from that position? Maybe Gray would be evens, but anyone else? We're so bad on the ball, it's painful.

Has that been confirmed on refusing to warm up? Sounds like fan hyperbole.

I'd argue calling out an incompetent manager who is destroying the organisation is sometimes the correct thing to do.
