I think there is quite of lot of hate for most players in the team when things aren’t going well. I don’t think it’s personal .

If Everton are to improve I think he needs to be replaced. Perhaps still useful as a squad player but need better as a 1st choice. Unfortunately that’s not going to be possible probably until next summer.

This aged well, could do with replacing most the squad to better ourselves Doucoure at least puts himself about and pops up with goals.

I’ll probably get hate for this because he scored and runs a lot but whatever he’s still utter utter crap and a #10/second striker with any ability to pass a football and make decisions quickly in attack would take this team right up into mid table. With Doucoure doing this every week the ceiling is like 15th.

The clumsiest footballer you'll ever see. Doesn't even know how to run let alone control a football or pass. At team in which he starts every game cannot be creative or play well. Somehow he seems to find the net more often than others in our terrible squad though.

…I think we took the extra years option on his existing contract. He’s now in his final year & I expect he’ll be offered a new deal. One of the first names on the team sheet, let’s hope he signs one.

There’s not a a chance they can. He’s horrendous, hoping for a goal evey couple of games is tedious

I just wish:
He didn’t look like falling over every time he has the ball.
He didn’t kill the ball dead every time which slows our attacks
He didn’t make the wrong passing decisions 90% of the time
He didn’t keep killing our attacking momentum with brainless fouls.

Apart from that i don’t mind him really.

He is so so bad on the ball. He is clueless. Offers energy and the odd goal but not much else for me.

Happy that he scored today but I still think he needs dropped. The amount of passing move that break down because he can’t control the ball or he takes too long on the ball is shocking for a professional at the top level. And it’s probably one of the main reasons why Everton’s style is so scrappy and disjointed.

All players have faults. To me Doucoure is such a grafter and gets into some great positions by exploiting space so he is a clever player in that sense. His passing is what lets him down.....some come off but most become a wasted opportunity
