He was a very good box to box midfielder when he came to us from Watford - but never a no 10 - his celebration of him wanting to sign on again was frightening TBH - as per usual he was so slow - his goal just paints over the cracks as a player for us I'm afraid to say ....

I wouldn’t say very good to be honest I’ve never rated him, and watched him quite a bit as he was always linked to us. He’s always been a very average technical player imo

His athleticism was his biggest selling point. As he gets older and his legs go, there won't be technical ability there to save him.

Honestly, a new contract on reduced terms is fine if he's a squad player, i just don't think Moyes see's him as one.

Seen some post on a Forest forum after yesterdays game that they would love to get Doucoure in the summer. Give him a new contract and flog him to the fat Greek for 20m

I agree to a point, but he will start next game (correctly too, IMO), and Moyes won’t put him in the two cm slots… so that leaves McNeil & Alcaraz vying for the wide slots - Harrison had one of his better games for us v Forrest, so he’s starting most likely, and that leaves Ndaiye, who no one (in the fan base) wants to drop.

Harrison had a very good second half and got better as the game went on ——he even went past his opponent on the outside and got two good centres in, never seen him do that before. To say he had one of his better games is a surprise that’s the only good game I’ve seen him play this season and he’s played plenty!

You could do 2 youtube videos from the same game with Doucoure

1 Would be all heart, interceptions, pressing, great engine and look like a very useful midfielder.
2 With the ball you would question how he actually plays in the PL, his touch and passing being league 1 level.

Bizarrely enough it's only certain section of Blues who've not got over him trying to buy Baines that can't see it...or they can,but just chose not to give him his flowers.
