He's clearly not delighted to be here at present, due I'm sure to the Allardyce debacle, but he's contracted for a long time so I'd tell him to suck it up. It's a totally new regime now, and they've repeatedly said he's part of their plans. If it's falling on deaf ears then I think the lad's being foolish, but then who wasn't aged 20. Stockholm syndrome him until he loves us again.

I think the diff is we can get a fee for him and he has a future to think about, while those two are worthless and finished

I’m going to go against the grain here and say I don’t understand the praise Lookman is getting, he’s shown very little in an Everton shirt to suggest he’s going to be a starter here. He’s literally all potential at present and if we can get 20-25 million for him then that’s really good business.

I agree, while the lad has looked very good in parts, we have a tendency to go over the top with all our young players, we have done since Rooney and very few make it.

I would prefer to keep him and see what he can do, he wouldn’t do any worse than Bolasie, but it looks like he’s off, he’s had no pre-season and has no injury so there is clearly an issue.

Would have liked him to stay but cant really say that i am bothered if he goes tbh. Has the potential to be great but isn't yet and can be quite frustrating at times. Being worshipped at Leipzig and them actively targetting him since his loan finished hasnt helped. No different than tapping up really. You get the impression that it has all gone to his head a bit and he thinks he is bigger and better than he is. Can thank the previous Managers for playing a hand in that as he was very badly managed for a young lad. If he wants to go, then Everton should let him but only if and when they are happy with how much money they are getting for him. Other clubs take us to the cleaners and we should do the same. While I agree with wanting to keep Lookman over Mirallas and Bolasie, it's not like we're exactly flooded with offers for the latter two is it...

After he has gone it will be DCL and then Ramires, none of who have contributed anything so far to Everton, despite their fat salaries. I do not care if Lookman goes or stays. If he stays I will get right behind him in the hope that he justifies the hype given him by a few people. Some say get rid of all the dross, and then when the dross are unloaded, in come the moaners. The club knows who is worth keeping so leave it to them.

You must have missed the geezers on here claiming he had not been (a) treated properly and (b) not been played properly, and to summarise - not been given a fair chance by several managers. Maybe out of perversity some wanted him given another chance for the above reasons.
