If he insists on leaving, loan him out for the year.......if he's as good as he thinks he can be, his value will go up, then we can sell him next year for more money...
Makes no business sense for us right now to sell him to anyone....
 
Him being left out of the matchday squad is really the first I've been concerned about the situation. I am convinced of his quality (as is Marco) but I think its about time he gets his head screwed on and works hard for a new regime. I am understanding of his frustration from last season but he's got a huge chance ahead of him with a squad that looks be on the up and up. I hope he's a part of it but the attitude needs to change, ASAP!

Silva was asked if Lookman has been left out of the squad because of an injury but the Everton boss replied: “Not injured. My decision."

Kieran Dowell was also left out of the squad for the opening game of the summer but had travelled down to the West Midlands with the team.

Silva says the youngster's omission was simply down to not being able to fit him in.

“Kieran was with us but, in the end, I can only put 18 on the squad list, but he came with us yesterday," Silva said.

Yeah I read that but I’m sure Mola wasn’t the only player not to travel with the team. Perhaps Dowell was just next in line if someone came up with an injury.

Oh ye of little faith. The fan club is disbanded and you're now excommunicated from the Christian denomination of Lookmanism. I'm the Pope of this new church and the only way you're getting back in is if I call a Ramadan. Unlikely.

Everyone has just developed a hard on for hating our players these days. Next week when Keane returns to form (his usual form) the rat and snake gifs will disappear and Keane will be torn to shreds.

This place is like a lions den. If the lions were old, desperate and emaciated. Whatever gets thrown into the den gets torn to bits.
 
As much as I want him to stay (due to his obvious ability and potential) he does not WANT to play for Everton. As others have mentioned, the best course of action for us to take now would be to loan him back to Leipzig with the option to buy - bumping his price up in the meantime to say.....30m?. He WANTS to play for them. Why would we even contemplate keeping him. No one is bigger than the club. He will/should move on, as will we.

I will say that I continue to be optimistic solely because I want Ademola to shine here! I don't believe much of the rumors flying around the situation but Silva leaving him out made me finally take notice. Hopefully this is the final kick that he needs, because there's no doubt he can help us coming off the bench regularly and should be fighting for a place in the XI.

Poor attitude. No defeat no surrender. You'll have to work your way back up from acolyte at this rate.

I'm sure the multi-millionaire football players earning 50k+ per week are arsed what we write in this forum.
 
Kinda like the Barkley situation isn't it. Maybe hes one of those players who needs tough love? Or maybe the opposite and hes getting tough love but not responding to it.
