Maybe he will become a good player, maybe he wont, but Silva has constantly said he wanted him to stay, he then says hes not injured and he doesnt put him in the squad, it doesnt take a stretch its cos his attitude stinks.

Since we signed Bernard, and Richarlison had a very impressive debut the general language has changed from "Please play him so he wants to stay, tell Liepzig to do one" to "Well if he is going to force a move then he can do one, in a bit lad".

He had an injury in pre-season and wasn't included because he isn't match fit yet. Maybe he does need a dressing down over his attitude, but he's a teenager, you dont give in over a little strop. This is where a manager earns his stripes

As much as I'd like to sell him out of spite almost, if I were silva I wouldn't include him in any squads until the middle of September. Tell him he wont be selected until his attitude and work rate improve. And then hopefully slowly reintegrate him during the autumn. He's a player whose talent is worth keeping when the bid on the table is paltry. And I've no issues with silva making an example of him.
 

He’s under a long contract and we no longer have the pressing financial need to sell every time someone waves a half decent fee under our nose.

He can either sort his head out and play some part in our season or sulk in the U23s and enjoy his loan spell at Wigan next season when Leipzig have forgotten he even exists.
 

I find it bizarre that grown adults would sulk me.

Fair enough if you hate it and think it's [Poor language removed], that's completely fine. Just get on with your job and then say you want to leave when the proper time comes.
 
He's a business asset.

Loan with buyback option.

If he does well, do what Barca do and buyback to auction off.

If he does poorly let him fade into obscurity with his football dreams.
 
Personally think he's quality and reckon he just wants to play, don't blame him for wanting to go to a club where he gets a start most games and admire him for it, plenty of players happy to get splinters in their Normans. As another said, put a Barca like buy back and let him go, he won't get much game time this season.
