Ademola Lookman

In all due respect to Sharp, who i know works for the club, how is he any more wiser that he's sulking?

Did Silva pop up to the gantry after Saturday and go... "That Lookman is one stroppy get", i doubt it. I'd guess he's making an educated guess based on absolutely nothing. The kid has had 75 minutes of pre-season. It's farcical some of peoples reactions on here

Very unbecoming behavior from a club legend and ambassador. Should be put on temporary leave.

Imagine getting paid less than a quarter of what Bolasie and Mirallas get. Give him a new contract ffs.
I've no doubt mate that a new contract will be part of the discussions he'll be having with Silva, assuming we keep him past the deadline, which isn't a given yet sadly.

If he goes, I hope it's because somebody met our valuation.

If he stays, I fully expect Marco to say something along the lines of, "get your head straight, work hard in training and I will give you time on the pitch. I will work with you to improve your game and you have top class players like Riki, Theo, Siggy and Bernard to work with and learn from too. Do the business on the pitch and I promise you will be rewarded with more game time and a much improved contract"

How the lad responds to that determines what happens next. The ball is in his court, nobody else's. I had full support for him last season when dealing with Allardyce. But it's a completely different scenario now and it's up to him to apply himself like a professional.

The lad doesn't realise how lucky he is tbh. Unlike all our other young lads, who all desperately want to play for us incidentally, he is the only one who has the full backing of the vast majority of our support, and that's despite him obviously wanting away.

*sigh*

This narrative you've been spoon fed has no credibility. For one, he has not said he wants away and people's only evidence for such is a ten minute cameo at the last preseason game while he was coming off an injury and Valencia played to kill out the clock with possession.

Secondly the fan base does not support him. Just look at the thread and the fact that even Sharp is going on radio to stick the boot in embarrassingly so.

Lastly if he had such a bad attitude and was disruptive or didn't give 100% in training he'd be sent where Cuco, Yannick and Nikola are. Has he been? No he's in the latest training video warming up, hopefully with enough vigor to satisfy the beached whales that post and slag him off on here.
