Thank you, I've had to become high energy and high aggression in this thread to keep up with and match the hate but I won't let a bad word against him go unabated. GOT what have you done to me?!

But that's just it mate, no one hates him, as everyone sees that there's a really talented footballer in there and up until very recently wanted him to stay.

All he has to do is come out and say, he's staying and getting his head down and all this stops.

But instead, he remains silent and " appears " to have downed tools.

You can see why people are unhappy with him ?
 
Leipzig wouldn't be so vociferous in their tapping up of the player if he actually wanted to stay with us. That would truly be moronic.

Of course he wants off. Of course his attitude throughout preseason has been poor. To suggest anything different is naivety bordering on madness.

Leipzig are desperate to sign him. The player is desperate to join them. But Leipzig can't afford him. Hence the antics. It's not rocket science.

But we hold the cards. The power is in our hands.
 
It’s not as if Sharp came out with some inside info, it’s the same guesswork as is happening on here based on his perceived attitude - IN A FRIENDLY - and Silva leaving him out at Wolves.

Even if it IS true, Silva must see the situation as salvageable otherwise I think we’d just take a “he stays until we’re paid what he’s worth” stance as opposed to “he is the present and the future of the club.”
 

He's lik 90% potential, 10% ability right now.

Not sure why RBL have such a hard on for him when they can go and pick up some similarly skilled players from Salzburg.

I speak in hyperbole on here as I'm sure many do so hate is probably a strong word but I do think there's a portion of people online who genuinely use mediums like this and social media to get their aggression out and it's more than just club commitment reasoning.

Also I think it's a dangerous precedent to set as a public figure replying to something that's not true and it's not his responsibility to combat wild online speculation.

As for whether I can see why people might be upset about him?

He's guaranteed profit, Young lad like him with skills and pace and not a bad finisher will easily do good in Bundesliga and they can make like 20-40 profit on him depending on the club coming in for him.
