He earned that wage, no? Little silly to act like we are doing him a solid by paying him a reasonable wage for a young PL player.

That's not how it works though, is it? He gets paid what was agreed to and then he does as the manager asks. He's been terribly mismanaged in the last 12 months or so. That's on the club. If he can't get over it and work happily with Silva, that's on him.

He was ready to produce for Everton last year, as evidenced by his success at Leipzig. He got sent out on loan when he was a better option than the man in front of him. Simple as that.
