That’s not the point. Hoffenheim existed for over 100 years before their owners bought them. Without Red Bull, there literally is no club.
No they weren’t. Red Bull bought out a German 5th division side 9 years ago, pretty much dissolved them and started a brand new franchise under the Red Bull name. RB Leipzig has existed for 9 years. They’ve wiped every single thing to do with the former club from their history. It’s the same as MK Dons, only with a much richer benefactor.
Mick has become a real Leipzig expert these past few weeks.
