So...what exciting young talent has left us and achieved magnificence elsewhere? And don't say Barkley.
It is but it's a results driven game. Can we really afford to play youth in the hope they improve and develop while risking putting points on the board? If they were as good as people make out they'd displace players and force their way into the team regardless.Mustafi, Dier, Rooney
Are we so stupid to sign such promising players and then never give them a proper run in the team?
Its easy to say that a player doesn't have the mentality when you sign them only to then buy more expensive players for the same position.
Lookman today, Onyekuru tomorrow and then Vlasic isn't far from the door too.
Our model of not giving young talent a platform to build is flawed.
Dier was only a loan from sporting. I'm not sure mustafi is a talent. He's looked pretty poor for arsenal.Mustafi, Dier, Rooney

Sky have been wrong about Everton with regards to absolutely everything this summer but I'll post this anyway. They claim we'll deal at £28m.
Crazy money for someone who has virtually never played for us but welcome if they do come back in.
Weirdly I still think it’s below his value. If he plays well for us this season at any point we could definitely command more. He was the star player in the England u-21s and we’ve seen the likes of Maddison go for 20 Mill. What if he turns into another Sterling or a player like Malcolm or Dembele? His value in the market could be huge.
I was disappointed when David Johnson and Steve McMahon went.….and....? You said 'the number of young talent that leaves us is incredible...…..you've named one,and that was about 15 years ago.
Yes spot onI was disappointed when David Johnson and Steve McMahon went.

With the exception of Rooney, we've not been short changed on any of our 'talents'. I'm not sure any have progressed at their new clubs, either.
Not significantly. More a case of he's in a top team. They still concede silly goals.you really dont think stones has gotten better under guardiola?!
