Erm. You do realise that a buy back clause requires the player to want to come back ? It works for Barca because any players they sell deep down still dream of playing for Barca... that’s not going to work when the player you’re selling doesn’t want to have anything to do with the club that’s selling him,
Yes, I do realise how the clause works.
I also realise that Lookman may want a ready made return to a team competing at the top of the Premier League.
What do we have to lose by inserting said clause?

IF this happens, from the business side its quite interesting.
People talked about how Barcelona were able to pay 11 million for Mina, barely play him, and get 28 million. With Lookman, we paid 7.5 million and would be getting 28 millionish. Also think of how, if its 35 million for Richy as claimed, we sold a guy who has scored 1 goal for us for 28 million, and got Richy for 35 million. I think we can all agree he would be quite the upgrade.

Bolasie has to go before Lookman, and the front 4 wide positions are between Richardson, Walcott, Sandro and Lookman? Right? Who else have we got left - Bernard is one of them perhaps, though he seems to be back up to Sigurdsson, and then Dowell plays in a 4-3-3 if there's like a change in formation to accommodate him. Seems like Lookman will get good game time here. Bernard is new here, Sandro is still settling in, Walcott is injury prone and Richardson is 21

Yeah, but he's an upgrade on Bolasie and Mirallas, not Lookman. Vlasic was also played as a winger, and so Lookman has got a lot of opportunities this year.
Considering it's literally only the mirror and they been beating this drum for weeks and weeks about a move being imminent I'd guess someone is just looking for clicks.
Bernard is a Left Winger mate, hes played 1 game in the middle in his whole career.
Sure he could maybe play centrally, but hes a winger first.

For me Lookman is a Right Winger, yes.
IMO Lookman would be back up for Walcott.
Our only other options there are Sandro, Rico or Bernard switching sides, Niasse, DCL, Dowell, basically none of them great options.
