..Sky sources saying Lookman is staying at Everton.

Great news he is a maverick and i always welcome mavericks at Everton, im as happy about him staying if it happens as i would be about a new signing.

Truth is all the sounds came from Germany, i suspect the lad may have had a low enough treshold to leave, but not enough to force the transfer or hand in a request. Elsewise Leipzig could have been trying to unsettle the player.

The lads going to make it and im happy it looks like with us, no better learning environement for him then playing with Rico and Walcott. when he looks at the team and sees young players like Dowell, Kenny, Davies and Rico in if he has any sense he would realise he is in the perfect spot for what it looks like he wants to achieve. His job of work now is to buckle down and prove he deserves what he wants.

..we don’t truly know that. I imagine he wanted out but i’m not sure how much he wanted out. I just think he’s moody and can be a bit difficult but the way Silva plays might just suit him. He strikes a ball sweetly on either side, he can break at speed in dangerous positions.

I’d like him to be a bit more straightforward. Be a bit like Walcott in simply looking to exploit space behind your full back rather than cutting aimlessly inside. He can learn from Lookman and Walcott.
He hasn't handed in a transfer request (yet), or refused to sign a new contract like some of our more illustrious past players. He hasn't not turned up for training or refused to travel or go on strike. In fact Marco has said a couple of times he's trained well.

As you say, I just think it's just a case that he enjoyed his time there last season and his head has been turned by their interest this summer. Think Marco's been leaving him out simply because his head hasn't been in the right place, and he isn't our first and won't be our last player to be in the same position.

I'm hoping once the window's shut he'll get his head down, work hard and play a big part in our season. I too think he'll fit well into Silva's style, which is why we turned down £25m, if you believe the stories. I'm sure once he smashes home his first of the season in front of the Park End, all this will be well and truly forgotten.

Silva just confirmed he's staying.
Now pipe down with the faux-ultra talk, some lids actually think you lot are being serious.
