Losing the ball is acceptable when you are trying risky passes that if they come off will split the defence or create something . I’m sick of watching everyone play easy , cowardly football. Like they’re scared to make a mistake , Bernard , siggy and lookman are the only ones that attempt these passes and losing the ball is going to happen more with these three than anyone else and I’m fine with that
It depends where you are on the pitch. Trying to play a high risk/high reward ball at the edge of the opposition's box? Great, go for it. At the edge of our box? Not so much. I'd agree that he has a habit of holding on to the ball a little too long in our half at the moment, but that's not uncommon in a player of his experience.

And tbf, a fair few times Lookman got knocked over were been given as fouls the other way.

I don’t think he does , he’s looking for a forward pass that’s different to most of our players. Better than gana default of whenever he wins the ball he looks for Pickford

On a side note, our free kicks by the halfway line are interesting. We always pass it back to the CB, who then passes it back to Pickford, who then slices it right or left to no one in particular. It’s a tactic as we do it virtually every time. Odd.

And we've done it for the last four years.

Infuriating!
When we had Cottee and Beardsley up front,Southall would always hoof it high straight down the middle, more often than not it would end up back in out half with the opposition on the attack. It's just the Everton way.
