He was boss coming on as a sub, ran directly, took people on, tried something different. As soon as he beds into the team he starts to play like the rest of them, checking back, taking the easy option etc.

Pointless singling out individual performances, everyone was crap and the weather was horrendous so hardly ideal for someone whose best talent is quick feet.

I have more faith in him creating chances than any other forward player at the club. People calling to sell him are clowns.

I was happy to give him a run. I still am. He looked scared yesterday and mis-placed what seemed like every pass. Conditions didn’t help and he became visibly smaller the longer the game went on. Deserved to be hooked but I’d start him again. He still made himself available for the ball unlike Theo who definitely hides.
