Player Valuation: £40m
He has half of Lookman's talent, but he's twice the player. Make of that what you will...Redmond career has stalled. He looked like a poundland Sterling when he came through.

It isn't exactly that though is it? Brands hasn't really made a decision yet. Walsh bought him and never did anything to show how he felt about him after that. Unsworth got him into the team a few times and was in charge for 6 weeks so that's nothing concrete. And Boothroyd dropped him more do to the fact that we weren't giving him club minutes and other players were.Probably not.
But
Would I bet my life on a decision that Big Sam, Unsworth, Steve Walsh, Marcel Brands, Marco Silva, Aidy Craproyd and myself have made? Or take the word of some 2 bit fella who did alright in DAS SPL and yourself?
Im going with team Sam on that 1.

So it's more like Silva, Allardyce, Koeman which is two failures and a TBD on one side and a club that specializes in signing young talents on the other. Obviously I go the other way but if you like your group that's your choice.
What did you want him to do?Walsh bought him and never did anything to show how he felt about him after that

I don't disagree but they have been exceptional at identifying good players. Even the few misses have been smart money that they've recovered like the Burke lad who is at West Brom now. I trust their scouting more than ours. Brands could change that by the end of the window.Im not gonna side with a club that wasnt even formed 10 years ago.
Proper shady orga that Redbull.

The only thing RBL specialise in is making a quick turnover on players, none ever seem to stay there that long. A club who specialise in youth talent would be Ajax surely?Im not gonna side with a club that wasnt even formed 10 years ago.

It's funny you should mention him because a lot of the criticism of Lookman sounds eerily similar. And I'm pretty sure the RS did "good business" at the time. Now he's a 100m level player. This is like reading a bunch of daily mail writers chat about Sterling
It's a fair point mate, feels a bit uncomfortable reading through this to be honest. I've never seen such desire for someone to fail, especially as he has always came across pretty well in my opinionIt's funny you should mention him because a lot of the criticism of Lookman sounds eerily similar. The Bundesliga is inferior now but it isn't a huge gap yet. It will be in 5 years because of how much money the Prem pumps in but the last 5 it has been even. This is kind of the breaking point. Its much easier for them, mostly with the way the work permits work, plus they have teams all over the place to work around them.
Plus DAS SPL is a vastly inferior league.

I have no desire whatsoever to ever see any player fail in an Everton shirt. Just as I see, IMO, no desire from Lookman to make a success of his time here. It's a fair point mate, feels a bit uncomfortable reading through this to be honest.
