I don't think we can lose with Lookman really. If he stays, great, he is useful with a load of potential. If he goes then whatever, he wasn't a regular so he wont be missed and we can waste his fee on someone else instead.

Based on what we have seen so far, there isn't likely to be a huge change in what he contributes, and he isn't likely either to be a regular starter.

Compare and contrast with his spell at Leipzig, maybe he is just happier and better suited to that environment than with us.

It's not big money either way in this climate, but it's £20m odd that could go towards paying for someone far more useful, in whole or in part.

We will lose money that apparently we don't have to spare barring a very surprising upturn from him otherwise.

Not really. If he is never going to get a chance of doing it here then what he does elsewhere would be irrelevant to us. Sometimes a player just needs a change of
scenery to fulfill his potential. Rightly or wrongly I don't think he will ever be given a proper go here.

Of course if he fulfills his potential in Germany then it effects us even less...
