Bainsey scored those two cracking free kicks vs West Ham (I think it was Big Rom’s First game for us). Bainsey still has that ‘indie’ hipsterish gig about him..a little Paul Weller-ish. Capt Jags has sadly lost too much pace. I reckon he realises that as well and it’s beginning to affect his captaincy. I’m loath to say it but perhaps this might be their last year in our first team?. “Heresy!” you say?No, in my opinion it’s just cold hard reality .
I wouldn’t be surprised if one or two of the young lads -like Lookman- didn’t think dissimilarly.

Must have missed when Jagielka was ever a good captain mate, long as I can remember whenever anything happened he'd be nowhere to be seen.

How Coleman hadn't had it for the last three seasons is baffling.

I always smile when I recall that video clip of Neil Warnock launching off at his CBs over some goal they let in. Capt Jags throws an item of clothing (it may have been a hand towel..not sure) down onto the floor in exasperation...it was a real statement.

Last few club captains have been utter jokes, both managerial yes men effectively.

Only player deserving to wear it is Coleman

When we got hammered by Chelsea and Coleman scored an own goal he was on the floor dejected & Diego Costa ran over pointing in his face whilst he wa on the floor laughing at him.

Jags stood & watched from barely 5 yards away did absolutely nothing.

He is a massive part of the malaise & lack of fight within this club been a decent player & servant to the club but has been & always will be a loser.

I genuinely think this will be Capt Jags’ last year...not only as a captain but as a player. I think he’ll do a Bug Dunc and coach at Everton.
Like you, I reckon Mustard should be given the armband when Capt Jags retires.

So you think he should have binned us off for Man U when Moyes came sniffing? Because he’d have won stuff with them.

You’re embarrassing yourself. Get back under your bridge you bed wetting troll.

No, I wanted him to win stuff with us obviously you halfwit but the loser mentality we've had at the club for decades makes that difficult

Well he didn’t. But your assertion of ‘what did he win’ implies you actually would have respected him more as a person and a player if he ditched us like Arteta or like Lukaku.

So who’s the halfwit, the person defending Baines from your claim he’s a loser, or the person who used ‘what did he win’ to advance his really badly thought out assertion.

He is a loser, he was perfect for us

He did the same in the game with West Ham when there was a big kick off and it was left to Naismith to be the captain
