I hope if (and it's a big if), Koeman does put him in, that both the manager and fans allow him a run of games to actually show what he can do. I think he's got a lot of talent, but it can't be underestimated how hard it is to instantly make an impact when coming in to the side for 1 game.
I've already seen a few people being critical of him on various forums, although I know most are in agreement that he should be given a chance. But he needs time to show what he can do, and it's so frustrating that Koeman hasn't given him a chance yet, and will also deem him not ready if he doesn't make a massive impact in one game.
The whole point i've made above is pointless anyway as the clueless manager in charge won't pick him as no team actually needs wingers to play on the wing in his mind. We need centre midfielders or strikers to play there instead and make zero contribution lol.

Not really. A journo asked him a direct question on Depay and he confirmed we did want him but the Everton board couldn't deliver.

But the way Koeman sets up, the width/winger isn't there at the moment and he did say he was one for the future and it'll take time;
I know he's said he's ready to feature/play etc since then, but he's still only 19.

Im a Londoner who moved to Liverpool for a couple of years when I was a nipper, it's a pretty big culture clash tbh... especially for a young black lad in a city which is 99% white. I know that may sound silly (like black people can't be mates with white people etc) but it's going to play a factor at his age imo.
