Air Fryers, any good?

Street end man

Player Valuation: £35m
Mrs came back home today with an air fryer that she got in the January sales.
She's been going on about them for ages and we've a couple of friends who have them who swear by them.
Problem is, I can't be doing with microwaved stuff, just not nice and that contraption only gets used for defrosting.
In general I've not liked any of the cooking gimmicks from the George Formby grill to the pop up toaster lol
Opening my question to the wider audience here to hear some honest replies from fellow blues.
Make is a Ninja which she says is widely praised but I've never heard of them. So, crap or worth a go?
Bottled it tonight and opted for a take away whilst the game is on by the way:pint2:

It's a small oven. Don't expect it to do anything other than be a bit more efficient at cooking your food.
