Derry have made some very good signings, be interesting to see the level of the league this year with a sizable amount of players going to the UK and Europe at the end of the season.

Apparently the Shelbourne v St Pat's game can be seen on the RTE website in case anyone outside Ireland is interested. Bloody hell Shels have a goal disallowed in the first minute

Even though I am born and bred Rovers fan, I am delighted to see two proper Dublin clubs in Shels and Pats bringing a full house to a televised match. Not sure about the Shels banner " a Dublin Institution". Who wants to be in an institution?

....and Pats go one up. Brilliant strike against the run of play.

Damien Duff's first serious managerial role. Very tough to take on a newly promoted club. I wish him well mind you.

Very impressed with Anang in goal for Pat's. Apparently the Ghanaian is on loan from West Ham.

He was whinging about have to do so much work as a manager in the LOI earlier in the week. Given his past fondness for walking off into the sunset I'd be suprised if he sees the season out.

TBH I wasnt happy with the merger so I'm not overly arsed if Devo fails spectacularly
