I was in TX Friday night to see city lose 1 0 to Galway. Beyond frustrating, Galway had 3 attempts at goal all night and scored with their only effort on target. Their gk was motm and made two unbelievable saves in the space of a minute, one to concede a corner and then from that corner, knew he was a good keeper but he was exceptional Friday night. Young Murphy at lb for them was being watched by Newcastle scouts but he had a terrible night and got cleaned out by Bargary so I'd guess he won't be going anywhere for awhile. Hopefully just one of those nights for us but tbh Galway were poor enough but did play with 10 for 40 min

Given what is going on in Ukraine, sport fades into insignificance.

However, Everton, Rovers, Dublin footballers and Lazio made my weekend miserable. Dubs hurlers at least gave me something to smile about.

Sorry City also disappointed you mate.
 


City beat Waterford 2 0 in TX. We absolutely battered them first half, second half more even but bar two late saves they never bothered our goal. My first time seeing Waterford this season and they were a disappointment tbh, too many players with no heart for the fight, they are also physically very small. Interesting season this one, for sure
