Didn't he walk off stage in Liverpool a few years ago because of the barracking he got for being a Manc? Or is that just a popular myth?

It's the way that the 'worries about human rights' is an aside, as if he's really concerned about the situation regarding the machinations of the Saudi regime - the sort of crass thing Alan, God bless him, would say.

It was about 10 years ago mate, he didn't walk off and it was nothing to do with him being a Manc it was because of how crap the show was, people were actually walking out half way through because he was that bad.
