the game isnt made for the niall quinns, john hartsons, and duncan fergusons anymore, yes strength up front is an asset but progressively the game has become less physical and almost devoid of unpenalised physical contact.
 

fergusons said he ent leaving so can't see it. the price i saw was 8 million, so think we should forget this one....
 
Who thinks Ronaldo is an arrogant prick? How would you feel about him playing for us week in week out? Sure there are players I wouldnt want to play for us, say Savage from Blackburn. I hope he gets kicked everytime he plays, and I wouldnt want him at our club. But if Savage played for ManU, or any other higher profile team, was on the fringes of national team selection, and was younger, Id be right behind him. Same with Barton. Whatever your personal feelings towards a player are, as soon as he puts on that blue, you have to get behind him.

fair comment but Smith would add nothing to our team that Vaughan and Anichebe can't supply already and they get on with the changing room. Smith would bring baggage with him, I'm sure one or two of our lads just might like to take the prick by the throat(y)
 
Yeah, its a delicate balance to have a good dressing room.

Maybe Moyes knows what he's doing and thats why Barton is off to the Barcodes. Maybe Smith wouldnt be a wise move, but on the surface he's another step closer to making Everton the England B team (which I dont think is a bad thing...what do you think?)
 

Think hed add very little apart from an increased yellow card ratio. It was gut wrenching the wau he left leeds, it must have been terrible for them.

Ah well, what a pity, never mind!
