Went out last night for first time since end of November…… wish I hadn’t now, my local was dead …. Won’t be out again for a while

Don't drink Sunday-Thursday.
Last two weeks, haven't touched it on the Friday either.
Tonight, enjoying a nice NEIPA and a homebrew sip(s).

Have to pay my annual subs for the bar I'm a member of today. May be the perfect excuse for a few Guinness. At £4.10 a pint it won't break the bank either and i get 9% cashback on my loyalty card.

My local is about the cheapest pint in town .. and to be honest it’s the best too. It’s just out of town and it’s not everyone’s cup of tea as it has a history of being known as a man’s proper pub…. Obvs times have changed but some people still won’t come in there . It’s been owned the past 20 years by my mate and his wife and it has a very loyal core of locals that keep it going, Sharon the landlady is really good too and often puts on special promotions such as £2.50 a pint all day Wednesdays or something. Last night I went there about 6 and it was packed, by 9pm there were 4 of us left there, I was home before 10pm.
