Alcohol … how’s your relationship with it ?

Definitely a lot better. Me and the Mrs probably would have gone through 8 bottles of wine a week a couple of years back. Drink every so often now, like maybe once every 3 months or so. Usually just when there’s an occasion. Mainly driven by the hangovers getting too much now I’m into my 40s and having a 7 year old boy who needs taken everywhere lol

Still exhausted between work and parenting but at least no hangovers and alcohol related depression sitting on top of it lol

Cheers mate. Lost a few stone into the bargain. Tbh I think a lot of therapy helped too. Just don’t need to booze any more to enjoy the weekends or when I’m stressed. Much more beneficial to have a coffee and a chat with the Mrs in the morning and a good kip at night.

I don’t think I was a full blown alcoholic but I definitely had an unhealthy relationship with alcohol which was a product of not dealing with my mental health. Not that I have any moral issues with anyone wanting to get plastered and have a good time. I’ve been there and done that and can’t be bothered any more lol

We nearly bought some baijiu recently (which is the Chinese equivalent I think), as it is was something like £200 down to £20 on the Selfridges website. There was so little about it on the internet, we found some stuff on Reddit about it and they all said that western people really struggle with it so we didn't bother

Always been so curious. It’s quite a unique drinking culture they have. Reckon it would be fun to have when you go out with just one mate.
