He’s up there with the Delph, Walcott and Bolasie signings, huge contract and act like we should be happy he’s signed for us in the first place.

No real commitment.
That's not true though. His willingness to basically do only defensive work was vital to earning us a draw against the RS.

I think there's a lot to be critical of with him, but the attitude and commitment stuff is probably not fair unless you're at Finch Farm regularly.

Strongly disagree. What can you do to justify his transfer fee?

He had a good 10 minutes last week and everyone praised him for it, it was ridiculous, like every fan his performances are reviewed during games. He’s a complete Joey just happy to be getting games for a premier league team.

That has nothing to do with his attitude mate.

I don’t care if he has the best attitude in the sauad , it’s not justifiable for what we’ve paid and why he’s starting
And that's all fine and good.

What I originally responded to was you saying he has no commitment and seems that you agree, there isn't really any justification for saying that.

Fair enough, but I’d currently rate Naismith when we signed him over this supposed workhorse.

Ancelotti must be looking at the £28mil rising to £35mil price tag and wondering what hes actually meant to do and where hes able to play.

We cant sell him as our FFP loss would be enormous. Our only hope is to do a dodgy swap deal where prices are inflated.

He wont be sold.

Sick of the "he's not playing in his proper position shout". Number 10? A position made to accommodate players who you need to carry?

Gordon already has played left wing, right and centre midfield and looks comfortable. Richarlison is played up front and on both wings and is effective.

Truth is, he is just sh1te, like 90% of the squad.

He's another that just isn't dynamic enough in possession. He runs a bit like Ross Barkley out of possession too, but slower.

Attitude, commitment etc I don't see as the problem. He's just not very good and we'll probably be stuck with him for a good few years. We might get a loan deal from him, but I'd highly doubt any club would take up the option to buy.

More to do with the fact no one would be stupid enough to buy him.

Even if we could find a buyer it would be at a loss which screws us FFP wise.

Id say a swap deal for someone.

Some reasonable views here.

This. Tons of average or worse players on big money and long contracts. It's hard to see a way out in the near future.

I know they are only highlight reels but its a glimpse of what he's capable of (90% of his play on the left wing).

You can see from these what Brands was looking at as a Zaha backup at its pretty simillar in style.

Think he has been hampered by injuries and form (not just him, the team too). Been played on the right as there is no alternitive and in and out. Looks a different, confident player here. I know its only clips but my point is, he does have quality. We just need him to get a run in his favoured position and show it consistently

And yet Arsenal were happy to sell him, and most of their fans couldn't believe their luck when we paid what we did. Almost as if that youtube video doesn't accurately reflect his time there.
