Tried to stick up for him in recent months because he's been played out of what's clearly his best position, and the fact he does at least put a shift in most of the time. But every game he plays in though it just gets harder and harder to understand why we even signed him. He's got some ability but his strengths just don't suit us, and they didn't even when Silva was here.
Think he needs to be filed in the same drawer as Tosun, a panic buy we talked ourselves into against better judgement. Hopefully we can move him on and get most of our money back, he is still young so that's one saving grace. He will have suitors surely it just depends if he'll take a likely drop in wages

I honestly thought it was a joke when he was linked with us. I thought it originated from a lazy journalist linking us with the nearest winger since we were also in for Zaha. Little did I know we were actually planning on spending money on this guy. 30 mil no less.

I’m all for signing young talent. But surely Brands has seen a good bit of him and saw his lack of improvement over his duration in the league. It’s not like he wasn’t league tested. He’s one of those players that I don’t see getting much better because he just lacks the footballing brain.

Ive never hid from the fact that Brands has signed a very bad player here.
We won't be able to sell him this summer. We would make a huge loss and we can't afford that.
Yep, he ain't going nowhere so he's got to
A) knuckle down and work 10x harder to prove his doubters wrong and make a name for himself at our club
B) curl up, crap himself and get loaned out next season to a bottom half club (lower than ourselves) and hope it works out for himself.
