Ability around the box isn't everything for a #10. Otherwise Gylfi Sigurdsson would be world class, and we know that isn't true.

I fail to see any way he wouldn't have been more useful as a #10 than Gylfi was the last two games and as much as I don't want to doubt Carlo I really can't see a reason to give Sigurdsson that opportunity when you have to make it work with Iwobi.

I am pretty sure every time he has been around the box he has made a mistake. Actually almost every time, never makes the right decision.

I'm certain that isn't true because absolutes like that just don't happen.

But even if it was true if we were picking between someone who can actually make our midfield function, which Iwobi has done a few times, or the Sigurdsson style of maybe popping up with a goal I'm picking the Iwobi style in our current team. We're so dysfunctional in the middle and I understand Iwobi hasn't been good enough to guarantee to fix it, but he is also the only one in the squad who might fix it.

No it isn't, but it is also a starting point. I'm just confused why we saw Iwobi play one game at #10, he was awesome at it, and then never saw it again. I wouldn't be confused if we never played 4-2-3-1 again but we have done and we are back to using Sigurdsson.

Get him in a swap deal with Palace for Zaha. He’d probably take a move back to London and Zaha won’t stand for another season at Palace.
