Well I’m sure he will get a few negative DMs from many people and it will probably be the last time he will post something like this.

It doesn’t bother me at all, the whole world posts what they have on social media, he just has more than most people.

Couldn't care less what he posts on social media. I don't even have an instagram account myself, but if he wants to use it then that's up to him.

All I care about is that he gets himself prepared for the new season and plays a lot better.

Well from my experience, no. People usually put up pictures of places they're going, things they're doing, other people etc. Not just endlesslessly publish photos of their mush. As if there's nothing more interesting in the world. Seems pretty egotistical, no?

That said, his account is probably managed.

For famous people it's all about pushing their brand which will usually involved them in some form.

He probably has his own personal hidden one for stuff like you mention.

Listen, you horrors - apparently he split up with his model girlfriend, so clearly this pic has been taken by his butler and he has his face turned away from the camera to hide the tears at having to go on his jollies by himself.

Hope you're all proud of yourselves for kicking a man when he's down.

Is it tacky? Yes

Has he had an absolutely stinking season? Yes

Is it his fault we pay him ludicrous amounts per week to stink the place out? Not at all

He's given the money regardless of how he spends it. If he wants to spend it flexing on Instagram then it doesn't really make any difference

Thing is it's all about appearances isn't it.

Instead of advertising Supreme and that you're swanning off somewhere in the middle of a global pandemic on a private jet with a RR in the background after having a terrible season it's not a good look for someone who supposedly represents 'the people's club' is it.

If you want to post something just post a photo of you on a treadmill or benching with #backtowork #backstrong #efc #utft and then clear off on holiday without the need to 'flex'.

I did believe that it could have been a shrewd signing but apart from a couple of games it has been a disappointing season for him.
I think the picture reflects what is wrong with football in general rather than the player in particular.
These are young men, incredibly well paid, largely removed from the ordinary lives most of us live. The lad is entitled to go on holiday but if he did accept or realise the low opinion that many supporters hold of his efforts during the season I am not sure he would put out a picture like that.

A picture showing him sprinting in a park in whatever luxurious destination he is going to would be better advised.

If there are going to be swap deals in and out of the club then certainly he is one that could be involved.

I think the post and the reaction shows whats wrong with society. Nobody should give a toss if he is going on holiday one way or the other.
