We're much better when he's on the pitch. He gets slated by many but to me it's obvious that we're much better going forward when he's there.

The huge ball he played to Richarlison was fantastic.

He linked up brilliantly with Sidibe 2nd half and I thought it was only a matter of time that we were going to grab a 2nd during that spell.

Did well and made things happen - him and SIdibe our best players .. Marco didn’t agree though and thought snides was better ... more great management .....

Could be a lot quicker, but he's good with the ball and gets it moving in a positive direction. Much, much better than the alternative, that's for sure.

....plenty of criticism for him on Sunday, but he still has the quality to deliver a pass that his forwards would think he can achieve. When he has the ball, they will make a run in the expectation he can find them.

There was a few Hollywood passes the commentator picked up on, but for me there was an Iwobi moment that stood out for me:

Sidebe produced a brilliant cross and Richarlison an outstanding header, but Iwobi’s ball to Sidebe is worthy of mention. it looks a simple short pass out to an overlapping wing back, but it wasn’t rolled out to him, it was hit with a bit of pace into his path. Sidebe didn’t have to break stride, indeed he picked up momentum. It wasn’t just a pass, it was an invitation.

I said the same thing to my dad, Iwobi made it look like a doddle, but almost everyone else in our team would have under/over shot that pass.

...absolutely. Davies took a quick free-kick in the 2nd half, a simple pass down the line to Sidebe but he over hit the ball and it went for a goal kick. A basic skill, a promising situation and valuable possession given away.

I’ve mentioned possession lots, especially away from home. I said it with reference to why Silva played Bernard and how important Gomes is. These are players the manager trusts to get the ball and keep it, even against top teams. I think this is why he didn’t play Davies for so long. It’s why the likes of Baines was so classy, he always found a pass even in the tightest situations. It’s what the good ones do.
